Downtown San Luis Obispo Trolley
Just when you thought downtown San Luis Obispo, CA couldn’t get any more charming, clang-clang-clang goes the classic cable-car-style trolley.
Covering the main core of downtown, from the hotels on the north end of Monterey Street near Highway 101 to the intersection of Higuera and Nipomo streets, the downtown Old SLO Trolley costs a mere 50 cents. With a regular Thursday evening route throughout the year, and a seasonal schedule on Fridays and Saturdays*, the trolley offers passengers convenient, car-free public transit to and from the popular San Luis Obispo shopping and dining districts, Thursday evening Farmers’ Market, as well as Mission Plaza, every 15 minutes.
SLO Trolley Times and Schedule:
The downtown trolley stops every 15 – 20 minutes on:
- Thursdays from 3 to 10 p.m. - Year Round
- Fridays from 3 to 10 p.m. - April - October
- Saturdays from 1 to 10 p.m. - April - October
- Holiday Schedule: No service on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
